DISINFORMATION AGENT

Example: You have 2 9/11 conspiracy theorists. The first argues that the Twin Towers were brought down by explosives planted by government agents. The second argues a far less plausible theory that they were targeted by lasers based in space. The "explosive theorist” will then claim that the “laser theorist” is a disinformation agent. Deliberately planned by the government to make outlandish claims to make moderate conspiracy theorists look stupid.

The simple response to this is that moderate conspiracy theorists will only criticise the more lunatic fringe or make this claim when they have to.

David Icke was rightly ridiculed in the 1990s for his claims about lizard people and being the son of God. Yet as soon as he started making claims about the covid pandemic people started listening to him. His social media following went up dramatically. No doubt followed by his book sales and income. People were happy to give him a platform despite the well-known claims he made previously.

Many claimed that the COVID deaths were actually caused by 5G radiation. Over time fewer people promoted this idea to the point of where it's been forgotten about. Ask what happened and you will usually be greeted by silence even from those who never promoted the idea. Yet at the time the “COVID is only the flu crowd” had no problems marching side by side with the 5G crowd at street protests.

Russel Brand was a highly vocal critic of lockdowns, Vaccines and Big Pharma. He then had a major downfall followed by a religious conversion. The last time I looked he was selling devices to protect against “harmful” Wi-Fi signals. No doubt filmed on a WiFi-enabled phone. His followers have gone strangely silent as a result.
